Carrie grew up in small(ish) town, Wisconsin. Upon reaching "adulthood" at the age of 18 and in search of a college education, she moved to the big city of Minneapolis, MN. She soon cultivated a love for bicycles, neon colors, large amounts of yarn, Australian music, old houses, texture, color, thrift shopping, and large city adventures.

After five years, she has completed a graphic design degree from the University of Minnesota and three internships in design, textiles and letterpress printing. She has also studied identity and branding, taken study abroad coursework on letterpress printing, and added a focus on textiles to her BS in Graphic Design.

In Spring 2009, Carrie packed up her champagne and plum Toyota Corolla and took the beautiful, cross-country drive to Seattle, WA. (She particularly enjoyed Western Montana and would love to live and paint there someday.) She took with her a stash of yarn, lots of paper products, many mismatched dishes and teacups, a Minneapolitan sense of design, and a keen taste for adventure. All packed into 6 vintage, cherry red suitcases.

She particularly enjoys production work, typography, layout, packaging, letterpress and any other sort of print design you can think of. She would also love an oportunity to work with textile design and plans on going to grad school on the subject. (eventually.) She will also happily give knitting lessons and would jump at the chance to be a part of design and/or fiber education.

Follow her current exploits and shenanigans on her blog.
